Born and raised in 70's Tehran, Dr Mo was a high achiever in high school and tertiary education, passionate to purse medicine to make change in people's lives. After 5 years of General Surgery, Dr Mo decided to specialise in Plastic Surgery to express his artistic side through his work.
Dr Mohaghegh is globally recognised as a Plastic Surgeon, being recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as a registered Australian Plastic Surgeon, only one of 500 in the country. He's also recognised in Iran as a registered Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

Book a consultationDr Mohaghegh was accredited as an Australian Plastic Surgeon in 2018 by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, making him one of only 500 Plastic Surgeons in Australia.
Dr Mohaghegh completed his Master of Philosophy from the University of Sydney in 2015. He conducted research at the ANZAC Research Institute and was part of the team working on the Skin Substitute Project.
Dr Mohaghegh was awarded a sub-specialist accreditation as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran.
Dr Mohaghegh was admitted to the Board of General Surgery in 2001 at Tehran University, where he first began his journey into the world of surgery.
Dr Mohaghegh completed his initial medical school studies in 1995 at Tehran University. Following 18 months of internships at local hospitals, he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1997.
